Between March and June 2020, during the height of the global COVID-19 crisis, TinaMed S.A., together with its French partner, chartered 12 fully privatised Boeing 747-400 cargo aircraft from China to France—averaging one flight per week, with a total airlift capacity of 600 cubic meters per flight. This operation was covered by French national media such as France 2 and France 3.

In late June, TinaMed S.A. organised a historic full train shipment: 42 HQ40 containers filled exclusively with TinaMed and its French partner cargo. This was the first time in history a train traveling from China to Paris was entirely loaded by a single supplier—no unloading occurred in other European countries along the route. The project was completed in collaboration with SNCF, China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd., COSCO Shipping, and with the support of both the Chinese and French governments. In 2021, TinaMed S.A. also supported several IVD (in vitro diagnostics) companies in obtaining local registrations and whitelist approvals with health authorities in France, Germany and Switzerland. During the crisis, TinaMed supplied over 100 millions masks, 2 millions boxes of protective gloves, 50,000 infrared thermometers, a substantial amount of dispensers of hydroalcoholic gel, protective gowns, surgical caps, face shields and over 10 millions antigen test kits
